What a weekend we had and what a start to this week!

Last week we had prep. all week for our show on the 20 November for Redken at their "I ♥ Redken"-event. And from early morning on Saturday we had a team at Winterviken, where the event took place, to create amazing hair from our collection for this Autumn/Winter and from Classic Icons collection.







And on Monday, we went to Redken Exchange here in Stockholm to get some inspiration and learn new things from the Redken Artist, Carmody Homan. Very inspiring day both to listen to and to see Carmody in action.

Teemu and Jenny - for Redken

Last week Teemu Koivisto and Jenny Karlsson went to Malmö as Redken Artists and held a show at the hair salon Larsson & Lange to give ideas and inspire their staff. Very nice evening with some very edgy and cool hair.

Next event with MIKAs Koivisto/Karlsson for Redkens behalf will take place on the 20th of November to celebrate Redkens 50th year.

Behind the Scenes - New Years Eve Hair Up

Behind the scenes from a photoshoot on Sunday, October 24th, where our Salon Manager Director, Jenny Karlsson was doing hair ups for a New Years Eve Special for a magazine. Our two assistants, Cissi and Gisella were helping out during the day.

The Final result of the shoot will be put up here at our blog when the magazine is out in stores.

Stockholm Hairdresser

A week ago "Stockholm Hairdresser" took place at Färgfabriken here in Stockholm. Packed with inspirational shows - some better than others. MIKAs Koivisto/Karlsson had a one hour show on October 9th to show of our latest collection for this Autumn/Winter.

Jenny Karlsson, Tony Lundström, Teemu Koivisto and Anna Härnberg took the stage to present our 30 models for the day with great colors, cuts and styling.

This was an exciting new event in hairdressing Sweden and hopefully it can grow into something big and maybe get a bit bigger audience...

As for now there is a lack of pictures from the shows on both Stockholm Hairdressers website and other hairdressing industry pages. If we find any we will update this post.

Our Salon Manager Director at MIKAs Koivisto/Karlsson, Jenny Karlsson has done the hair on Carina Berg for the cover and inside article in latest Plaza Kvinna.

Inside there is also a shoot called "Jardin de Paris" where our Paris-based Guest Style Director, André Cueto-Saavedra is responsible for the hair.
