LIVE from Redken Symposium 2011 - Tylösand

All of us at MIKAs Koivisto/Karlsson went on a road trip yesterday evening from Stockholm through a beautiful Swedish scenery with beautiful open landscapes accompanied by an amazing late spring/early summer sunset - our goal was Tylösand Hotel and Redken's event "REDKEN Symposium 2011".

We arrived late last night here in Tylösand and after a quick night cap at Leif's Lounge here at the hotel we had an early morning to enjoy a breakfast together and then go to the first show to kick start the weekend.

George Garcia (USA) together with Tracey Hughes (Australia), two of Redkens most sought after artists, performed a show/demo to inspire and teach us some of the latest coloring and cutting techniques. Very cool show with some great ideas that we can bring back to our salon! Thank you guys! Our own assistant at MIKAs Koivisto/Karlsson, Gisella Jansson was helping out backstage.

After a one and a half hour inspiring hair show it was time for a lecture about "Digital Communication, Extreme Customer Service" from Göran Adlén who has mind and voice that keeps you listening on the edge of your seat for an hour. Very inspiring!

Redken Symposium 2011 - Tylösand

Next weekend, 14th-15th of May, the Redken Symposium 2011 is taking place in Tylösand. We at MIKAs Koivisto/Karlsson will attend with our stylists and assistants to get inspired by lecturers, other hairstylists and maybe stroll by the water to catch some of the beautiful West Coast sunset.

This means that our salon will not be open on Saturday the 14th of May!
